Cocaine is classed as a stimulant (temporary increase in alertness and energy). Cocaine comes in the form of a white powder, which is the most common form in Australia, and is usually snorted. It can be dissolved into liquid and is then injected. If cocaine is converted to a freebase (crack) it can be smoked.
