Cannabis (marijuana, weed) comes from a plant that produces THC and is a psychoactive drug (chemicals that change brain function). In Australia, and the rest of the world, it is the most commonly used illicit drug. Over 1/3 of Australians who are 22 years or older have tried cannabis. Cannabis can be smoked or consumed through edibles.

The dosage of cannabis depends on a variety of factors such as strain and potency of the cannabis and tolerance of the user. Erowid gives a guideline and explanation of factors here.
